Hackney 2012 jobs hotline launched
In the countdown the Olympic and Paralympic games, the race is on for local people to take up the temporary jobs available in and around the Olympic Park at Games time in the summer of 2012.
So far more than 500 Hackney residents have already been offered jobs this summer but with just two months to go before applications close, the Council is offering one to one sessions to help make your application on the spot.
To take advantage of the offer, call the Hackney Games time jobs hotline on 020 8356 5700 but be quick as places are limited.
To apply direct, through London 2012 contractors, visit our 2012 jobs recruiting now page, which includes links to contractors currently offering vacancies. Most areas, including: cleaning, waste, catering and hospitality, security, retailing and logistics, are still recruiting.

Recruitment event
London 2012 is inviting local residents to come to a free recruitment event at John Lewis (Stadium Suite, 3rd Floor, Westfield Stratford City, on Tuesday, February 7 (10am to 2pm).
