Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document
The Affordable Housing SPD was formally adopted by both Cabinet and full Council in July 2005 following a comprehensive consultation process and sustainability appraisal. The document will form the basis for negotiations of affordable housing provision on all proposals for residential and mixed use developments in the borough. The output of Affordable Housing is reviewed yearly as part of the Annual Monitoring Report process.

Due to recent changes in the legislative framework, a new Affordable Housing SPD is being prepared and will be available for consultation in early 2012.
