The Affordable Housing SPD was formally adopted by both Cabinet and full Council in July following a comprehensive consultation process and sustainability appraisal. The document will form the basis for negotiations of affordable housing provision on all proposals for residential and mixed use developments in the borough. The output of affordable Housing from the SPD will be reviewed annually as part of the monitoring process.
