Our Lady's Convent High School
The school's current facilities will be updated to provide modern amenities for all its students.
Construction began in late November 2010 and is due to be completed in September 2012, with the sports hall (which includes a rooftop multi-use games area) complete by December 2012. The majority of the school will be moved to Mount Pleasant Lane during construction.
The new facilities include:
- social areas enabling students to mix together, creating a greater sense of community
- improved laboratories and workshops to provide a greater range of vocational courses
- modern library facilities including computer access centres
- improved sports facilities including a sports hall
- improved technology to support the teaching of languages
- improved classrooms, circulation and social spaces.
