Hackney Archives Exhibitions

Hackney Archives regularly holds small exhibitions on various themes which highlight our collections and these are usually held at the Archives searchroom (please see below for address and opening times).

The current exhibition is on Hackney Women in Local Politics to celebrate the centenary of the passing of the 1907 “Qualification of Women” Act, which entitled female ratepayers to be elected to borough and county councils.

In addition we have collaborated with other organisations to create learning resources. Here are some of our past and present exhibitions and a link to the learning resource Tudor Hackney.
