A new building for a modern Hackney
We’re modernising our buildings to provide better services for the people of Hackney.
For the first time you'll be able to find all your Council services together under one roof. Our new customer services centre in the central atrium will be the heart of the building. It will be surrounded by open plan offices for Council staff on the upper floors.
The new building will mean:
A central civic campus
Construction of our new customer services centre is another key milestone in developing a central civic campus for Hackney. The building is designed to complement the Town Hall.
Our much-loved 1930s art deco Town Hall will be the centrepiece of Hackney's central civic campus.
Innovative design
Award winning practice, Hopkins Architects have worked closely with us to develop a design that complements the local surroundings and promotes accessible local government.
