Carers Register

For carers looking after Hackney residents

A carer is someone who provides unpaid care by looking after an ill, frail or disabled family member, friend or partners. Carers have told us that they would like a Carers Register so that we can better keep in touch. We have listened to you and we have now launched the Carers Register.

We will send you the Carers Information Pack, which containing information about services and support available, and we will send you quarterly updates and information, including -

updates about developments to services and support for carers
invitations to work with us to plan new services
invitations to events including the annual Carers Conference and Carers Week
and anything else that we think may be of interest to you

We will also use the Carers Register to help to improve services for you. For example, the Carers Register will help us to find out how many people are carers looking after Hackney residents.
