Cassland Road Gardens is a small and very attractive garden in E9. The garden dates from the 1850s and is protected under the London Squares Preservation Act of 1931.
The park holds a Green Flag award. The awards are given to the best green spaces in the country and are awarded each year to make sure the quality of the green space remains high.
Cassland Road Gardens user group
The Cassland Road Gardens user group was formed in 1999 by a group of local residents who wanted to restore the garden to its former beauty. The group has regular gardening days and meetings. Contact Marc Jordan (chair) on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Barbecues are not allowed in Cassland Road Gardens. If you'd like to hold a barbecue, there is a dedicated area in London Fields.
