Cassland Road Gardens
Cassland Road Gardens is a small and very attractive garden in E9. The garden dates from the 1850s and is protected under the London Squares Preservation Act of 1931.
The park was awarded a Green Flag award in 2011. The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. Hackney currently has thirteen Green Flags - one of the highest totals in London.
Cassland Road Gardens User Group
The Cassland Road Gardens User Group was formed in 1999 by a group of local residents who wanted to restore the garden to its former beauty. The group has regular gardening days and meetings.
