Children and Young People’s Plan
The Children and Young People’s Plan (CYPP) is central to the work of the Hackney Children’s Trust Board. This brings together the Council and all the other partners in the local area to deliver improvements for children and young people across all five Every Child Matters outcomes: be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and economic wellbeing. It is the defining statement of strategic planning and priorities for children, young people and families in Hackney and is aligned with the six priorities in the Sustainable Community Strategy and the supporting Local Area Agreement.
The CYPP in Hackney is a three year plan, but there is a requirement to conduct an annual review of the Plan. The current CYPP 2008-11 was developed and agreed in June 2008 and is available below.
