Schools
Explore history, identity and belonging at Hackney Museum.
Teachers can book one of our taught sessions that investigate Hackney's history and celebrate the diversity of the borough. Our sessions support the Every Child Matters agenda and encourage creativity and critical thinking.
The programme includes sessions for Nursery, KS1, KS2, SEN and EAL classes. All sessions have been developed in collaboration with local teachers and can be adapted to meet the needs of your class.
A regular programme of teachers' forum meetings and inset sessions are also offered for local teachers.
All sessions are FREE for schools Hackney. Schools from other boroughs are also welcome, but will be asked to pay a small charge for the service.
