Keep yours safe with Hackney’s Companion Badge Scheme
We are working together with the Police and Disability Hackney to combat Blue Badge fraud.
By substituting your Blue Badge for a vehicle specific Companion Badge, you can simply remove the incentive for theft.
A Companion Badge is only valid for the vehicle it is displayed in, making it of no use to thieves as they are not able to use it in another vehicle or sell it. It is worthless to thieves.
Companion Badge scheme means valuable Blue Badges no longer have to be left in parked vehicles.
