Core Strategy and Proposals Map DPD Examination
The Hearings for the Core Strategy Examination in Public (EiP), closed ahead of schedule on 28 July 2010. The Council is now awaiting the Inspector's Report into the soundness of the Core Strategy. It is anticipated that the report will be received in early September. Until the Report is recevied by the Council, the Examination remains 'live'.

The Hackney Core Strategy and Proposals Map Development Plan Documents (DPD) were submitted for Examination on 25 Feb 2010. Under Section 20 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. Inspector Michael Hetherington, BSC (Hons) MA MRTPI, is appointed to conduct the examination to determine whether the Council's DPDs are sound. Andrea Copsey is the replacement Programme Officer for the Examination. Andrea has received the communications sent to Simon Osborn (the previously appointed PO) and will deal with all procedural, administrative and programming matters under the direction of the Inspector. Andrea is now the first point of contact - see details below.
The Programme Officer can answer questions you have about the administration of the Examination itself, although it is not possible to discuss the details of your representations.
The Inspector's Examination started from the date of submission (26 February 2010). This page will be updated with information as the Examination progresses, so please check the page regularly.
