Clissold Park and House
Clissold Park is one of Hackney's best loved traditional parks and has a rich history. The park is a former country house and estate and was first opened to the public in 1889.
The park was awarded a Green Flag award in 2010. The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. Hackney currently has twelve Green Flags - one of the highest totals in London
Restoration of Clissold Park
As part of a jointly funded initiative between Hackney Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, £8.9m is being invested to restore Clissold House and Park for Hackney residents and visitors.
