Millfields Park

View map

This large greenspace is much loved by its local community. The park its self is formed of three spaces which are dissected by the busy Lea Bridge and Chatsworth Roads.

The open character of the park is framed by stunning avenues of mature Plane and Hornbeam trees which trace the paths across the park. The Lea Navigation borders the park and links it to Springfield Park to the north and Hackney Marshes to the south. In time there will also be links to the Olympic Park to the south of the park.

Millfields Masterplan

We are currently working with local people and the Landscape Architects Camlin Lonsdale to create a masterplan for Millfields Park. The masterplan will influence future improvements to the park, and suggest priorities for future investment. View the draft Millfields masterplan (2.4MB) and have your say by contacting bruce.irving@hackney.gov.uk.

Millfields User Group

The Millfields user group is very active and has been instrumental in developing the park and improving the facilities it offers. They have successfully developed a community orchard on site and are heavily involved in helping to develop a masterplan for the park.
