What's new
Improved access and provision for disabled people
The recently improved provision of inclusive fitness equipment and staff training will help support the health and fitness needs of disabled people. This includes high visibility entrance markings, additional handrails in the changing rooms and toilets, improved signage and newly qualified NVQ Level 3 Fitness Instructors who are now trained to work to support disabled customers. No Limits sports club
A free new sports club offering disabled and able bodied residents the chance to train and compete together is opening at Clissold Leisure Centre. The club launches on 8 December and will offer adults and children the chance to join in with athletics, basketball, cricket, trampolining and Paralympic sport Boccia - similar to Boules. Activities for toddlers
Toddlers' World: designed to challenge and stimulate children in a soft play environment.
Toddlers' Soccer sessions: an inflatable pitch is used to introduce the basic skills of football in a safe, instructor-led session. Visit GLL for more information.
Clissold Fitness Centre just got bigger
An additional 22 pieces of equipment, including treadmills and exercise bikes, in the Wellness Fitness Centre. Visit GLL for more information.
