Training and creative skills

Have you ever wanted to learn new skills in carnival, dance, design, drama, heritage, film, media, music or the visual arts? Or even thought of entering the creative industries through volunteering or studying events management?

There is no set way to enter into a career in the arts and creative industries. Some people may enter the arts through formal training, some bring useful skills from other types of jobs and some have been volunteers.

The Discover Young Hackney training brochure provides information on many of the local courses available to young people aged 11 to 25. There is something for everyone at all levels.
