Full Plans Application
Applications require two copies of detailed architectural plans to be submitted along with completed Full Plans application form and the appropriate fee. A formal decision notice will be issued. A further single fee covering all our inspection charges will be invoiced once work commences on site.

Building Notice
Applications require a completed Building Notice Application Form accompanied by a site plan and the appropriate fee. Both inspection and application fees are payable in full at the time of submitting a Building Notice application. However, if the work relates to premises designated under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (such as offices, shops, hotels, etc.) a Full Plans application must be made.

Regularisation Notice
Applications require a completed Regularisation Application Form accompanied by plans and the appropriate fee. They are used where work has already taken place and a retrospective acceptance of these works is required. This is applicable for any work undertaken after 1985. It should be noted that in order to verify that the work complies with the Building Regulations it will be necessary in most cases for elements of construction to be exposed for inspection on site. Fees are calculated as with a Building Notice + 20% but VAT is not applicable for this application type.

Please note that no fees are charged where the work is solely for the purpose of providing a means of access for disabled persons to or within a building, or for providing facilities designed to secure their greater health, safety, welfare or convenience and is carried out in relation to a building to which members of the public are admitted or is a dwelling occupied by a disabled person.

Demolition Notice
This notification is required where a building is proposed to be demolished, and must specify the building to which it relates and the area of demolition. Notification can be provided by letter, fax or email, however, for you convenience we have designed a form that you can complete. Once you have sent us notification that you intend to demolish a building, we will send you a counter notice setting out requirements on how the demolition is to be undertaken. Demolition works should not commence for a period of six weeks after notification has been given or until after a Counter Notice has been served.

Street naming and numbering form
Application for new or changes to street naming and numbering of streets and buildings. Normally requires a planning approval letteralong withground floor plans accompanied by an ordinance survey site location map and the relevant fee.
