Licence - Scrap Metal

Under the provisions of the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964, each Local Authority must keep a register of all Scrap Metal Dealers.

It is an offence to trade without the appropriate registration.  This registration is valid for 3 years, after which applicants must re-register.
