Licensing Act 2003 - list of applications
This page contains lists of applications under the Licensing Act 2003 received by the Licensing Service - please see the downloads box on the right of this page.
These lists are updated weekly. If you would like to receive the weekly list by email, please send your full name and email address to licensing@hackney.gov.uk and a brief message stating that you would like to receive the weekly list of applications.
Representations against the above applications can be made by responsible authorities and interested parties. The Act defines interested parties as:
- a person living in the vicinity of the premises in question
- a body representing persons living in the vicinity of the premises in question
- a person involved in a business in the vicinity of the premises in question
- a body representing persons involved in such business e.g. a trade association.
Responsible authorities and interested parties or their representatives, may make representations on licensing objective grounds only. The licensing objectives are:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- the prevention of public nuisance
- public safety
- the protection of children from harm
Representations must be made in writing, and should be sent to: The Licensing Service, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London E8 1DY. Alternatively, you can fax it to us on 020 8356 4974 or email us at licensing@hackney.gov.uk. Please note that you must send your representation in by the closing date, and you must include your address details.
