Business parking permits
Businesses located within the CPZ area may apply for a business permit. Applications will be considered where it is essential to have parking provision for the efficient operation of business.
Businesses that make multiple applications will be required to justify their request for more than one permit. Eligible businesses requesting a permit, will be allowed to have up to 3 vehicle registration marks on one permit to allow flexibility.
A business is entitled to purchase a maximum of 3 permits.

From 1 July 2007, we started offering free permits for electric vehicles as well as a 50% discount for LPG, Hybrid and LNG vehicles on the cost of their resident permit. In order to receive these concessions a copy of the vehicle log book will have to be submitted. If the vehicle is a hire, vehicle, the Hire/Lease agreement must state the fuel type of the vehicle.
Permits may be issued for 3 to 12 months and should be renewed before the date of expiry. It is your responsibility to renew your permit on expiry.
Documents you need to provide
One of the following must be attached to the application form:
A) An official headed sheet of stationery showing the business name and address that is within the zone and a letter from your employer requesting a permit.
B) For each application you must produce either a copy of the Non Domestic Rates or Corporate Tax Return.
Documents submitted, as proof of vehicle ownership must show the name of the Company or employee.

Please note that you can also get an All Zone Permit. The same conditions apply as above, however, there is a separate form which must be used to apply and the cost of this permit is more. Fast track service at cash office
For a Business or All Zone permit to be issued while you wait or on the same day, a supplementary charge of £20.00 will apply per permit.
