Match Day Scheme Review Close of Consultation
The consultation on the review of the match day parking scheme and boundary consultation have now closed. Parking Services wish to thank all those people who participated in the consultation and had their say.
Parking Services are currently analysing feedback from the consultation and will present the findings from the review in a report to be approved by the Council.
Results of the consultation are expected in February 2010. All local residents in both the match day area and in the ‘non-match day’ section of Controlled Parking Zone M (Clissold) will receive a summary booklet explaining the consultation results and decision to extend the match day boundary or not.

How does the Match Day Scheme currently work?
The Match Day Parking Scheme currently covers the whole of Zones G, G2 and part of Zone M (roads west of Milton Grove).
The Match Day Scheme operates as an extension to the normal CPZs of each existing CPZ and is intended to prevent stadium visitors from parking in designated resident permit and business permit bays during Arsenal home fixtures.
Please note that the Match Day Scheme is only active when Arsenal FC hosts a home match at the Emirates Stadium. Normal CPZ hours apply on all other days.
Residents and businesses within the affected CPZs will need to display a permit for the entire duration of the Match Day Scheme hours, as well as during the CPZ times. Residential visitors are able to park in resident permit, general permit, and shared use bays with a visitor voucher as normal. Other visitors can make use of the Pay & Display facilities throughout the Match Day Scheme area.
Operational hours
During Arsenal FC home fixtures, the Match Day Scheme operates as follows:

Signs located on every street entering the Match Day Scheme area display the dates when the next Arsenal FC home match is scheduled to take place and when the scheme will next operate.

Arsenal FC also has an emailing list that sends out the latest information about new and changed fixture dates. To register, simply send a blank email to join-fixtures@list.arsenal.co.uk and you will be added to the email distribution list.
