Match and Event Day Parking Scheme
How the scheme works
The scheme operates as an extension to the existing CPZ operational hours, and is designed to prioritsie local parking space for Hackney residents and businesses.
The additional controls only operate when Arsenal FC hosts a home football match or when a large event (such as music concert) is hosted at the Emirates Stadium. At all other times normal CPZ hours apply.
Please ensure you display either a valid parking permit or vistitors voucher for the entire duration of the match and event day scheme hours. Pay and display facilities will continue to operate as normal for resdential and business visitors.
Where the controls operate
The scheme currently covers the following CPZs:
- G: Brownswood and Manor House
- G2: Finsbury Park
- M: Clissold - roads west of Milton Grove only
Operational hours
During Arsenal FC home fixtures the Match and Event Day Scheme operates as follows:

How do I know when the scheme operates?
Zone entry signs
Entry signs located on every road entering the scheme provde advanced warning of when the next Arsenal FC home match or event is to take place and when the controls will next come into effect.
These signs are udpdated approximately three days prior to a match or event being held at the Emirates Stadium.

As fixture dates are subject to change, we recommend all local residents and visitors to visit the Arsenal FC website www.arsenal.com for the most up-to-date list of upcoming fixtures.
Arsenal fixtures list
Arsenal FC also has an emailing list that sends out the latest information about new and changed fixture dates. To register, simply send a blank email to join-fixtures@list.arsenal.co.uk and you will be added to the email distribution list.
Events hotline
If you prefer to hear prerecorded information about the latest Arsenal FC fixtures and other events being held at the Emirates Stadium, please call the Events Hotline on 0844 931 22 11. Please note that calls cost 3p per minute from a landline and mobile and other providers may vary.
The Council has also erected signage throughout the area showing the hotline telephone number.
When was the scheme last reviewed?
The scheme was last reviewed in 2009. Duing the consultation, local people were asked for their views on the operational hours, general design and whether the additional controls met their needs.
