Controlled Parking Zone B (South Shoreditch)

The London Borough of Hackney last reviewed Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) B in 2005 - the public consultation took place between October and December 2005 and changes were implemented in November 2006.

Major Design Changes

Zone B Split

Zone B was split into two separate sub-zones to balance the needs of residents and businesses. The area affected by the 'night time economy' that lies north of Great Eastern Street and west of Shoreditch High Street became Zone B (North), while the remaining area south of Great Eastern Street and east of Shoreditch High Street became Zone B (South).

Zone B permit holders are entitled to park in both B (North) and B (South) sub-zone areas, but visitor vouchers are restricted to individual sub-zones only.

CPZ operational hours

Operational hours are based on the most popular start and finish times provided during the public consultation.

Zone B (North) and Zone B (South) now operate as follows:

Zone B (North)	Zone B (South)
Monday - Saturday 8:30am - 12:00am	Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:30pm
	Saturday 8:30am - 1:30pm
