Controlled Parking Zone M (Clissold)

The next operational review will take place in 2009/2010

Parking Services last reviewed Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) M in 2006 - the public consultation ran between 10th April and 9th June 2006.

Major Design Changes

The majority of respondents supported a reduction in hours of operation alongside the introduction of a Match Day Scheme. The establishment of a suitable scheme will be subject to further consultation with residents and businesses in the identified area (please see map) to ensure that their needs are effectively balanced.

Revisions to the operating hours are as follows.

Roads that fall within the proposed Match Day Scheme will keep the original operational hours:

• Monday - Saturday 8:30am- 6:30pm

Roads outside of the Match Day Scheme (but within Zone M) will see the introduction of the new operational hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and
• Saturday 8:30am - 1:30pm

Implementation Dates

Enforcement of the new changes take effect on 20 November 2006; implementation works will take place over the preceding weekend. Signs with the new operational hours will be placed in the areas affected by the change; areas not affected will keep their original signs.
