Implementation of Controlled Parking Zone N (Homerton)

A new Controlled Parking Zone will soon be implemented in the Homerton and Lower Clapton area, which will be known as Zone N.

Implementation of the CPZ is expected to take place in April 2008.  

All residents and businesses in the area will soon receive a summary booklet explaining the results of the recent consultation, the final design of the CPZ and dates of implementation.

Implementation of Signs and Lines

Implementation of signs and lines is expected to take place from 21 April 2008, with enforcement of the scheme starting from 12 May 2008. If you wish to park in the area during the zone’s operational hours it is important that you have a valid parking permit by this time.

To implement the scheme, it will be necessary to temporarily close a number of the roads within the area. Please download a copy of the lining schedule from the link on the right side of this page.

If you park your vehicle in the area please make the appropriate provisions during these times or use alternative modes of transport wherever possible.
