Hackney is the first ever Bright Ideas borough
Tim Campbell, the first winner of the Apprentice is working with Hackney Council to support enterprising young people in the borough with a good idea and a flair for business.
After working with Hackney-born entrepreneur, Alan Sugar, Tim has set up an organization, the Bright Ideas Trust, encouraging other young people to get into business. The Trust was launched in Hackney by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. Hackney is now working with the Bright Ideas Trust to be the first ever Bright Ideas Borough, an initiative to boost business and enterprise for young people in the Hackney area. Through the Bright Ideas Trust, young people can access practical help to harness their creativity and develop their talents.
