Clapton Square Conservation Area was one of the Borough’s first conservation areas; embracing some of the oldest residential and community buildings in Hackney.  This timely review reassesses the character of this conservation area in a detailed appraisal and will be used to inform the management of future change and development within and adjoining the Clapton Square Conservation Area.
