Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)

The latest Annual Monitoring Report 2006/07 - 80 pages - can be downloaded by clicking on the link to the right. It is the third AMR produced by Hackney Planning Service.

Key points for 2006/07:

• Housing stock up by 1,186 dwellings – exceeding London Plan target by 9%.
• Affordable housing up from 19% last year to 42%.
• Consultation on the Local Development Framework Core Strategy Preferred Option starts March 2008.

The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires AMR's to account for progress on the documents set out in the local development scheme, whether policies are on target, impact on housing supply, and on other national and regional targets, the effect of policies on sustainability objectives, and to review policy adjustments.

Under the Act, AMRs are published for information, not consultation. However, the Planning Service would welcome comments or suggestions for improvements.
