Woodberry Down Supplementary Planning Guidance

Hackney Council consulted on draft supplementary planning guidance (SPG) for the Woodberry Down Estate in 2004. The document sets out the broad policies and proposals for Woodberry Down, drawing on views expressed and comments received through the consultation on the draft SPG, previous consultation on the masterplan, as well as evidence gathered on the viability of proposals.

The SPG will help to ensure that development proposals for the area meet the agreed strategic goals, which were identified from consultation with the local community. It will set out the big picture for the neighbourhood and will be followed by more detailed design work.
