Regent's Canal Conservation Area

Regent’s Canal is an important historic artery and a reminder of the Borough’s industrial heritage.  The proposed designation of the Regent’s Canal Conservation Area recognises the distinctive character of the canal and will help to inform the development of policies for future waterside development and its accessibility.

Full details of the proposal, set out in a Conservation Area Appraisal (a detailed study of the area), are below and at the Planning Reception located on the ground floor of 263 Mare Street.
