Traffic lights or signals
Maintenance of all traffic lights is the responsibilty of Transport for London.
You can report any faulty or non-working signals directly to TfL Street Faults Contact Centre on 0845 305 1234 or via streetfaults.tfl.gov.uk Alternatively you can contact us on 020 8356 2897 and we will forward the information on to Transport for London.
Some of the reasons traffic lights or signals may be installed may be
- because of possible traffic hazards
- pedestrian safety
- to manage traffic flow from new developments, schools, leisure centres. (In some cases developers will finance new signals)
