Consumer advice 

Hackney Trading Standards and Consumer Direct can help and advise residents and consumers if they have a problem with goods or services that they have bought or received.

The Council will enforce trading, licensing and public health legislation covering all aspects of consumer protection issues, rogue traders and food premises. Find out more about our Enforcement Policy

What is Consumer Direct? 

Consumer Direct is a telephone and online consumer advice service. It is supported by local authorities in London and by the Office of Fair Trading.
