Temporary Accommodation Income Management Team
Main Aims
The Temporary Accommodation Income Management Team provides support to homeless applicants placed in temporary or emergency accommodation by Hackney Council's Homeless Persons Unit.
This includes people placed in hostels, in bed and breakfast or in private sector accommodation (both within Hackney and outside the borough). It also includes tenants placed in temporary Housing Association properties within Hackney.
We aim to ensure that people in Temporary Accommodation receive their full entitlement to Housing Benefit, and that all Temporary Accommodation licence charges owed to Hackney Council are paid in full.
