NHS Direct - Conditions and Treatments is a database of information and the public on a variety of condtions. The database contains contact details for major national self-help groups and details of evaluated patient information leaflets and booklets on treatment choices.
Homelesspages - A comprehensive guide to information about single homelessness in London. More than a bibliography, it provides an introduction to homelessness, plus a database of resources, including research reports, directories, training course and websites.
List of hostels run by St Mungo's - The hostels for homeless people vary in size up to 120 beds and offer decent food and beds, usually in single rooms. St Mungo's also run temporary hostels with more basic facilities. Residents typically stay for a few weeks or months.
