Hackney Fringe Festival
The Hackney Fringe festival is an annual event aimed at promoting Hackney’s cultural and community activities.
It runs alongside the larger CREATE festival between June and August, which is part of the Cultural Olympiad.
In 2009 the Fringe has included all sorts of different events:
- Gospel concerts
- Screenings of films
- Music festivals
- Arts workshops
- Historical walks
You can be a part of Hackney’s contribution to the Cultural Olympiad and promote your community event. When 2012 comes around we can show the world how culturally diverse and creative a place Hackney is.
