Friends of Hackney Road Recreation Ground
The next meeting is scheduled for the 12 May 7pm, location to be confirmed. The main theme for this meeting will be the presentation of a working proposal for the park. This will be something to get things going and is open to change and based on the results of the last meetings vote.
We're hoping to have a park day on the 15 May, Sunday at 2-5pm where volunteers can come and help with some clearing weeding and seeding, as well as catching up with other locals and discussing ideas for the space. Please RSVP if you think it is likely that you could come.
We would also like anyone to come forward if you're able to help us organise the table tennis tournament which we hope will take place very soon but not without a little help from everyone. We have had a fantastic response to this, at least fifty have signed up so far, so it should be great fun.
