I Love Hackney competition
Clissold Park has been awarded the prize of the most loved place in Hackney in the I Love Hackney competition. It beat strong contenders such as the Hackney Empire, London Fields and Springfield Park.
Photographic competition
The winner in the photograph competition is Emily Webber from Lower Clapton. Her photo of the Hackney Marshes impressed the judges and landed her first place, winning an iPod Nano. For more photographs, see the page on the left.
I Love Hackney Fair
Visitors to the 'I Love Hackney' Fair on 14 February were able to collect information about the area, buy delicious food and enjoy entertainment from love themed circus performers, face painters and DJs from Kiss FM.
I Love Hackney is a campaign inspired by residents who care about where they live. It aims to inspire others, create civic pride and celebrate people’s love for this very special place.
