Health and Safety Events
The Environmental Health Team regularly organise training events on Health and Safety themes in partnership with the surrounding Boroughs and the Health and Safety Executive. They also organise events to which Hackney businesses are invited to attend.
Most of these events are free to attend, and any business in Hackney can apply. They aim to cover a series of topics so that you can gradually build up a wide ranging knowledge of all your health and safety duties.
Some of the events are aimed at specialist sectors for example nail bars, where there are specific issues that do not apply in other businesses. These events are often run at the same time as these premises are being inspected, so that where proprietors find they need more information, they can attend a training event.
