Paving theft

Pavements, particularly those constructed of paving slabs, can suffer very badly from vehicles constantly riding over or parking on them.

In the case of damage, it is important, if possible, to report the vehicle details/findings so that the Council can recover the full cost of repairs to the pavement. If you have witnessed this behaviour please contact us on 020 8356 2897.

It should also be noted that when construction/engineering works are being undertaken on the highway by utility or other external companies, they are responsible for ensuring there is a safe diversionary route for pedestrians and other traffic and that the reinstatement of the public highway is to a satisfactory standard. If you think that this has not been done, again please contact us on 020 8356 2897.

If you would like to report an offender of pavement theft, please complete the above form.
