The Budget & Policy Framework

The Budget & Policy Framework is the group of strategies and plans within which the Cabinet, committees and officers  must operate when reaching decisions. The Budget and Policy  Framework is adopted by Cabinet and after consultation with the Overview & Scrutiny Board and others is proposed for adoption by the full full Council. Any decision that falls outside the framework must be referred to a meeting of the Full Council for approval.
