Current projects
Out & About monitors an action plan which contains the following objectives -
- Increase awareness of Staff Forum
- Enable all LGBT staff to share their views and experiences
- Ensure the staff forum is effective in promoting equalities
- To build a representative workforce and eliminate discrimination - improving staff retention and satisfaction
- For Hackney Council to be recognised as an organisation that values equality, accessibility and diversity
By monitoring the following measures, it will be possible to assess whether the above outcomes have been achieved
- Increased number of Forum members
- Improved Stonewall Workplace Equality Index scores
- Improved Staff Survey responses, for example, higher satisfaction rates, awareness of the forum
- Improved retention rate
- High satisfaction levels from forum members (on the progress being made)
