Public Library Online
Access to themed digital bookshelves of fiction and non-fiction titles from a range of well known publishers. No complicated downloads, DRM (digital rights management), or decisions on which reading device to buy. Access the books using your existing computer or internet enabled mobile phone in the library, at home or elsewhere.
How to use
To access items from the Public Library Online website you will need -
- your library card barcode number
- a computer or internet enabled mobile phone in the library, at home or elsewhere
Please note: items cannot be downloaded from this service.
E-library
Free download of thousands of e-books and audiobooks. Browse and download many popular titles to your home PC or Apple Mac.
Enjoy immediately after download or transfer the titles to devices such as MP3 players, iPods, smartphones and many other devices. Some audio books can also be burned to CD.
How to use
To download items you will need -
- a valid library card
- a library PIN number (you can get this from any libary branch)
- a home computer
Please note: e-books and audiobooks from the e-library can only be dowloaded to home computers at present.
