Mabley Green is characterised by a large climbable boulder in the centre of the space. The boulder was erected in the Summer of 2008.

Mabley Green during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Whilst London is hosting the Olympic and Paralympic games in 2012, the East Marsh will become part of the Olympic site.  During this time the pitches at Mabley Green will sustain the level of football provision from September to May, ensuring that Hackney remains the home of grass roots football for years to come.

Wildflower meadow

Members of the Mabley Green User Group are creating a wildflower meadow in the park. To find out more see the Wildflower meadow plans.

Please come along - they need as much help as possible! If you would like to get involved, please contact sam.parry@hackney.gov.uk or see the Mabley Green Community Meadow blog.
