Manor House Area Action Plan
Manor House is an important local centre and transport hub, but has a poor street environment and a relatively poor retail/commercial offer. The area is the gateway to Hackney and Woodberry Down and has many opportunities to make best use of its highly accessible location, enhance its unique setting and promote its regeneration.
The Manor House Area Action Plan (AAP) has been produced to set out the Council's spatial planning policy to guide development and public realm improvements primarily for the area around the Manor House tube station at the junction with Seven Sisters Road and Green Lanes over the next 15 years. The AAP has a strong focus on implementation and forms a statutory component of the Local Development Framework.

Current Stage - publication of the Manor House Area Action Plan (Pre-Submission Document)
Following consideration by Cabinet in July 2011, the Council formally approved the Area Action Plan (Pre-Submission document) for Regulation 27 Publication.
Public representations were invited within a 6 week period from Wednesday 21 September until Thursday 3 November (4pm) on the soundness and legal compliance of the AAP.
The Council is seeking confirmation from the Greater London Authority (GLA) on this conformity as part of Regulation 29.
Representations received will be considered by the Inspector as part of the 'Examination in Public' (next stage of AAP adoption) during which the 'soundness' of the documents will be confirmed.
