Members' Support Team

Members’ Support helps the elected members of the Council in their role as councillors, as well as supporting the office of the Speaker of Hackney.

The office provides a variety of services to councillors including:

• A Members’ casework service, helping the Councillors advance residents’ concerns
• A Members’ Training and Development programme
• Administering the Members’ allowance scheme and
• Keeping and updating the Register of Members’ Interests
