A group of young producers trained by Hackney-based organisation Youth Skills Network (YSN) want to change the way we watch TV forever.
Mini Mogul! is a TV-style show which gives young entrepreneurs aged 16 to 25 the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of celebrity judges, as well as a live audience, in the hope of winning a £3,000 cash investment, some free office space, business software, web design and professional mentoring to turn their ideas into reality. Sponsored by Team Hackney, it takes place on 21 August and will be filmed for broadcast.
Andy Fraser, the manager of the Mini Mogul! event and founder of YSN, explained: "The feedback from our last event was fantastic and this year we had to top it. We have launched a dedicated 
Mini Mogul! website and added elements, such as the Business Boot Camp and a reality drama series, which the audience can have an opportunity to star in."
YSN is a non-profit organisation that aims to give young people a chance to improve attainment levels and employment prospects in the media industry.
