Move Greener - Move in Hackney
The Council is committed to green travel and wants to support and encourage all who work, live or study in Hackney to move greener. Green travel is any form of transport that causes less damage to the environment and the community, than driving.
Walking, cycling and public transport (buses and trains) are the main forms of green travel. Joining a car club, car sharing, driving efficiently or driving a car that runs on cleaner fuel than conventional petrol or diesel, are also green alternatives.
