Settlement checking service
The settlement checking service is for people who are applying for settlement in the UK on form SET (M) as the husband, wife, civil partner or unmarried/same-sex partner of a British citizen or someone who is settled here. The service provides you with the opportunity to have your documents and application form checked when applying for settlement in the UK.

Nationality checking service
The nationality checking service is open to both Hackney residents and non-residents. It means that:
- we check that your application is completed accurately and supported with the correct documents.
- we certify and copy your documents so that you can keep the originals.

Citizenship Ceremonies
If your application to become a British Citizen is successful, and you are 18 or over, you are required by law to attend a Citizenship Cermony.
