We are organising a range of events and activities around Cazenove road and North East Hackney, which will contribute to an exhibition at the museum in January 2014. The exhibition will be about the area, and most importantly about the lives of the people who live there in the past and present.
About Hello Cazenove
Hackney Museum was awarded £150,000 over three years from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation to learn more about a community we hadn't worked with before. We want to learn more about the Cazenove area, and about residents' stories and history.
The main aim of the project is to explore the question: What does community mean to you?
The project is being run by community partners who live in the Cazenove area, with residents and Hackney Museum staff.
