Controlled Parking Zones
Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) have been introduced to improve parking conditions for local residents and businesses. They also help to facilitate the safe movement of traffic, pedestrians and cyclists in the borough.
In CPZs, parking bays are marked on public roads (excluding Red Routes, which are the responsibility of Transport for London) to show where it is safe to park. The bays are allocated to certain users, including residents, businesses and their visitors. Each motorist must display the relevant permit or visitor voucher to show their entitlement to park during the hours of operation for the CPZ they parked in.
Outside the CPZ hours, you do not need to display a parking permit or parking ticket, however yellow lines (waiting restrictions) and disabled bays will still be enforced.
