Hackney Peace Walk, the borough’s annual contribution to the London Week of Peace is taking place on Saturday 19 September. Led by the Mayor and Speaker of Hackney it will unite residents, visitors and community and faith groups in a celebration of peace, unity and friendship in our borough.

The walk starts at Hackney Community College, Shoreditch Campus, Falkirk Street N1 at 11.30am (please arrive at 11am for registration) and will make its way to London Fields where there will be a welcome event, from 1pm to 2pm,  with stalls, musical and dance performances, speeches and light refreshments.
